Just back from my wettest holiday ever with just the right picture to finnish off on my return. The distance holds the hope of better days while still celebrating the power of the silver sea.

Walking around the grounds at Upton House, a beautiful autumn sunset bloomed over the pathway. Is there anything more sublime than the way home lit with such seductive colours, encouraging rest after a busy day. 

First attempt to depict the gardens at Upton House in Warwickshire. An interesting exercise in placing the reflection of the sky in a slither of water while keeping the distance in balance.

Moving into a new studio with hubby… So much to do and missing work.
